As a woman living with HIV, she has diligently severed on several HIV related community and advisory boards, to ensure that women living with HIV are meaningfully engaged, and their health positively impacted through holistic and comprehensive approaches. Monisola believes service is about trusting and productive relationships and leadership.
Most notably, Monisola was a board member for the International Community of Women Living with HIV – West Africa; she provided strategic direction and led the strengthening of community level systems for ever increasing ART demand; she also held federal and civil society leadership accountable for equitable delivery of comprehensive HIV programming and addressing human rights violations that were barriers to access of HIV & TB services.
