ICWNA presents a virtual series- Common Threads, hosted by Vanessa Johnson JD, Director of Ribbon Consulting. Common Threads is a project created by Vanessa intended to explore the “common threads” relating to trauma in womens’ lives that ultimately led them to an HIV diagnosis. Common Threads empowers women to claim ownership over their story and utilize it to advocate for themselves, as well as other women living with HIV. Through advocacy and empowerment we are able to move forward in togetherness in pursuit of ending the HIV epidemic.
